BAILDON. Last in my Yorkshire Town Series

This 9X12 inch black frames picture took 2 weeks to make. I get asked of I go about making my embroidery quite often. There are several different steps:

1. I take many pictures of the location / town I want to use in my embroidery.

2. I make a rought drawing where certain buildings & roads ect will go. I sew black outline on my embroidery.

3. I colour in cetain areas with oil colours & other colour mediums, to get a 3D effect

4. Finally I embroider the remaining areas.
